The Joy of the 80's Teen

Teen movies from the 80's, oh how I love thee. Each and everyone is a treasure to behold. Their frivolous and outrageous plots are some of the best, they could cheer someone up from any bad mood. (Did that just rhyme? Behold and mood? Yeah... Awesome) So anywho, here are a list of my absolute favorites of this enchanting genre...

The Breakfast Club

Ferris Bueller's Day Off

Weird Science

Don't Tell Mom The Babysitter's Dead

Pretty In Pink

Sixteen Candles

Each and everyone of these extremely enthralling films could be called a classic, this amazing standard of teen-based movies could never be rivaled in substance and heart by the likes of Twilight or the ever bubbly High School Musical.

So I ask you dear people, let's bring this genre back...

And to end this thought, I would like to quote my dear friend Ferris...

"Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it."
